SCP Packet 2

Hello all, I will be reading the second iteration of my SCP packet, which was previously read at 2023 Festivus, at a to-be-determined time on New Year's Weekend. There will be 20 power-marked tossups, each themed around the fictional SCP Foundation (see https://scp-wiki.wikidot.com/ ). Please let me...

Re: Should ACF tossups be shorter?

Idk having played my share of NAQT sets it's very possible to test lateral thinking with shorter tossups, if slightly harder. Surely we don't need eight whole lines to establish context especially when many teams might not know enough to even buzz in before the giveaway if at all.

Science is cardable, but you break it into subjects and major sub-topics. A few examples here that do come up a lot: biology: cell organelles, common human diseases/vaccines, organs of the human body chemistry: the first 20 elements, columns/groups within the Periodic Table, ideal gas laws physics:...

Re: Should ACF tossups be shorter?

It's also important to consider that some answers could only be tossed up with shorter questions since there wouldn't be enough good clues to fill out a nats length tossup, an issue I've run into in the past. Also, especially for lower bracket teams, it would be nice not to have to listen to facts a...
