Yes, schools can sign up multiple teams, as long as every player on each team stays on that team and doesn't change teams throughout the day.

Also, if you are willing to cash in some money, NAQT's frequency list for literature is a decently complete list of books and their authors. I do not believe there to be plot summaries in the lists though.

I would definitely like to agree with the strength of Stanford Online A, as they retain their entire roster from last year. They did have a somewhat disappointing finish last year but with such a young roster they can probably do quite well for years to come.

Are there any tentative estimates for field size?

At Smith last year, we generally set up a cycle of players and subbed people in and out every 8 questions with everyone not in usually on protobowl.

Usually, when we’re short on time, we shout buzz or slap the tables.
