Re: Please Keep Full Stats at Your Tournament
Another important reason to keep and post stats; in particular, to post them in a central database like hsquizbowl.org or NAQT.com, is question security. If not for this thread, I would not have even known about these TQBA tournaments that haven't been posting stats, such as their HFT mirror on Janu...

After further consideration, we've decided to use 10-tossup halves (20/20) instead of 11-tossup halves (22/22) in order to make statkeeping easier and have built-in replacement and tiebreaker questions in each packet. The original announcement has been updated to reflect this.

Anyone have more than 8 buzzers?
Through a series of adventures, Purdue Quiz Bowl has accumulated 8 buzzer systems. I'm mildly curious if any team out there can top us?
(I imagine national organizations like NAQT might have more, but I'm particularly curious about college and high school teams).

Re: Packet submission thoughts
I have a few similar thoughts about the way ACF's packet sub tournaments are currently run as well. Most notably, it is really hard for large teams like Purdue to write early packet subs, particularly for Winter and Regs. This is because we have a large pool of players who might play the tournament,...
