Re: "Where Are You Going Next Year?" (Collegiate 2024)

I’m starting at the Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine at Oregon State this fall. I plan to attend the occasional online mirror every once in a while, but as far as I can tell, Oregon State has never had a quizbowl team. As I’ll likely be solo-ing, the NW circuit will likely have a fairly consis...

Re: Which packets should get uploaded to the archive?

This point has been made in previous posts, but I agree that it is a bad idea to preclude a good portion of packets due to not having a public reading. A visual denotation between packets that have been read at tournaments versus those that haven't would be a nice update for most users of the archiv...

2022 Festivus Zelda Packet Re-read

I wrote a 21 question Zelda packet in the same vein as Ethan Ashbrook's packet Master Quest from the beginning of the year and I am planning to reread it on Discord next week (likely 12/28 at 9CST). As with Master Quest, it will be fairly difficult but a large amount of questions should be gettable ...

Re: 2022 William Rufus King Memorial Tournament (11/12)

Thank you everyone for coming to this tournament. I hoped you all enjoyed! Detroit Catholic Central A beat Alabama Cyber Tech in the first game of an advantaged final to win the tournament and Hoover A came in an extremely close third place. Information on payment and packets will be communicated in...

Re: 2021 William Rufus King Memorial Tournament (WRK)

I apologize but I overestimated the number of staffers we would be able to get for the tournament. As of now, I have cut back the field size to 12. This means that the field is now full. We may open this up again to 16 if we get enough staffers. If you register you will be put on the waitlist and wi...

We plan to use NAQT IS-204 for the question set in this tournament. Registration is at https://www.naqt.com/registrat...

Start time is 9AM Eastern with a staff meeting at 8:30AM and we will be doing 11 rounds. Pay will be $15 through Venmo. If you are available and inter...

The set is now finished!

We have decided on a current limit of 12 teams. However, if we get more staffers, we would like to increase this limit. There are currently 5 teams registered, so sign up soon!

Re: TBA- Trash Bowl Alabama

We are planning on starting at 8 Central and estimate that, if we do end up doing 10 rounds, we will get pre-final games done between 4 and 5 Central. We are currently planning on doing an advantaged final, but this may change if we run long. We will update this as we get closer to the day of the to...

Re: TBA- Trash Bowl Alabama

Yes, that is correct. The general rule is that as long as the player is, or in the past has ever been, eligible under ACF eligibility rules, then they are eligible for TBA.
