Hyperbolic trig functions are part of pre-calc or AP calc mathematics too, and that's not in and of itself more difficult to understand than differentiation. I just saw the field for NAC in San Antonio. So that's St. John's from Texas that's competing out there and not St. John's Prep from Massachusetts? I think one of the QU NAC prelims is the same time as Panasonic this year, which may be affecting Russell's participation. Anyone able to confirm/deny? The final phase of QU NAC in Chicago is 12 June and PAC is 10-13 June (which is really strange b/c it was always at the end of June the three years...

They're going to QU NAC for sure; they're on the schedule for the first playoff tournament in San Antonio. I know this b/c I'm working that tournament as a runner next week, and they just posted the schedule at http://www.qunlimited.com. St John's will be there, too I don't know if they're confirmed...
