Re: Dynamic Onslaught of Notable Scholars (DONS I) Tournament

Not from Norcal nor in hs so I'm not playing this tournament but I'd like to mention that although the registration form on NAQT is working, the link for registration on here is not publicly viewable, which is I assume an error.

Re: GHOST (HS-REGS) - Call for writers

For the reasons DMa went into above, generally answerlines are not capped, because answerlines should be short in the first place (given that there generally isn't a reason to have long answerlines for most questions), but when they are long it is generally because, without the extra length, they wi...

Re: NSC 2024 Rule Changes

I assume these rules were meant to help with edge cases and avoid any eligibility issues like what happened last year, but the rules don't seem to have any actual definition of what counts as a high school vs a middle school. I'd assume based on implications that any school offering a grade from 9-1...

Re: All-Northeast Master Calendar 2023-24

Pretty sure it's difficulty (blue = below regs, green = regs, yellow = regs+, red = nats; though maybe red isn't meant to represent difficulty of nats exactly because ssnct is regs difficulty even though it is a nats set). It'd probably be helpful to have this marked somewhere on the calendar though.

2022/23 Post-Season Shoutout Thread

I mentioned that I was going to create this a couple times earlier this year and so here it is. This thread is meant to serve as the replacement for an end of season player poll, by basically just allowing anyone to shout out any players (or teams should they wish to do that as well) who they think ...

For the purposes of this poll any team from any New England state, NY, NJ, PA, or DE is considered part of the northeast.

I'll post more of my detailed thoughts on the circuit at some point later.
