First off, thank you for making this post: this is a particularly relevant thing in North Carolina I think because there are only a couple active college quiz bowl teams in the state out of 68 four year universities (and 58 community colleges), while nine HBCUs listed as active on the HCASC website....

I have heard that half of UWaterloo's ICT DII winning team this year had never played quiz bowl before.
