Re: Bloomfield HS NJ IS152 Field Update
Tournament went well outside of a few hitches. Stats are posted. http://www.hsquizbowl.org/db/tournaments/3306/ Manheim A won the tournament, going a perfect 10-0. Millburn A came in second at 9-1. Their final came down to the last question, with Manheim correctly answering and winning 305-240. Manh...

Re: Tournament looking for writers, mirror sites, and editors.
We are aiming for this tournament to be something akin to a Nationals warm-up, and hope to have the difficulty in tune with that expectation. Since the set is free I guess I can't complain too much, but don't you think there are already plenty of opportunities for "national warmup" play? ...

Tournament looking for writers, mirror sites, and editors.
A spiritual successor to the Spring 2009 BATE Tournament is looking for writers, editors, and mirror sites for a tournament aiming to be held in Spring 2011. Aaron Cohen of RPI and I will once again be heading this tournament, and we have some goals we would like to achieve with this tournament. - A...

I'd enjoy playing this tournament, preferably with a group of other Mid-Atlantic/Northeast/NYC Metro area players that I can travel with. I am rather proficient at Trash as well if that's any incentive at all, which I imagine is minuscule.

I will refute and say that those ratings have more to due with the recent strike and the Finals and Playoffs being mostly broadcast on Versus TV than with it's actual popularity in the United States. Last year's Game Six of the Finals had a 4.4 overnight rating and 7 share, effectively doubling the ...
