Re: Packet Submission discussion
I'm not speaking for ACF here, but I wanted to add some comments. If ACF wants to require teams to submit packets, it should directly teach people to write instead of throwing them into it blindly. If ACF assumes that people won't write on their own volition if packet sub didn't require them to, the...

I'd like to see the question on "Behind Blue Eyes"; I have zero doubt that I made a bad reflex buzz, but as soon as I heard this was a song originally slated for the Lifehouse album and then a reference to Meher Baba (I think by name?), I negged with "Baba O'Riley," which now ou...

Since I've already initiated a fussy punctuation/editing discussion, I'll point out that in NAQT's IS-174, which we read for the CC SCTs yesterday, it seemed consistent (though I haven't gone back to double check, so maybe it was sporadic?) that proper names ending in -s used as possessives did not...

Re: Periods, Closing Quote Marks, and You
Technically, British style would be to use single quotation marks pretty much everywhere that we (correct Americans) use double quotation marks, so people who use double quotes and exterior punctuation aren't really following any common publishing style (I say without double-checking if that's true)...

I sometimes come across plagiarism in old sets and just brush it off since most were written a decent amount of time ago, but I feel like having a thread to document egregious examples would be fun.
