Re: Region 2 SCT at Ottawa (February 5, 2011)
Just to clarify, Toronto B was also an all-undergrad team and should be given an UG tag - this might make a difference in the top undergrad team qualifying since there were 4 such teams in the field. I thought the tournament was a lot of fun and would like to thank Ottawa for doing a very good job a...

There's about 30 people for pizza, with nothing from the high school teams (which is OK, if they want their own food options). The full-time staff can have free lunch. Unless I hear otherwise by this afternoon - say, 3 PM - I'll order for 36. Drinks will be cans of Coke, Sprite, and some bottled wa...

anyone know how to get to guelph by public transport from toronto? One way would be the greyhound, from Bay and Dundas, which gets to the Univ. of Guelph campus in an hour or so. There are buses at 7 am and 8:30 am. The cost should be around 20 bucks (return), thanks to Greyhound Canada's student d...

If campaigning is discussion, then I think fourplustwo deserves a spot on that ballot. From playing tournaments and from crashing a bunch of practices this year, I would say that Sinan's usually about as good as the rest of Toronto put together. I know the ICT stats have Eric scoring a lot of the p...

This was a fun tournament, atleast judging from the 3 rounds we played at the Guelph mirror. I think the Christian theology questions were fine - the tossups on salvation by faith alone and prayer for the dead were pretty clear. I do remember Charles Taze Russell being dropped awfully early in the J...
