Well, don't think if it as being "stuck" reading a bunch of books - instead, perhaps, consider that you "get" to read a bunch of great works of literature.
Also, somehow I don't think paying for flashcards counts as real knowledge.

Alright, more updates - I've closed the field at six teams, so with a five game schedule, that should actually allow us to do full tossup/bonus games. We'll meet at 9:30ish in the top level of the atrium, and figure things out from there. I'm definitely in favor of playing full games, given the hig...

I think they're usually fine - I've used them at quite a few tournaments in the past, but the problems are in rebracketing - either you pick a fixed number of teams from each bracket to advance and run the risk of rising to a higher bracket than a team with a better record than you, or you just pick...

Re: The ICT format is awful and unfair (or: why I now play for the "Ann Arbor Campus, University of Michigan")
A format which requires 14 rounds but only 1 tiebreaker (as opposed to 13 rounds and two tiebreakers, as the current format does), without expanding the field, is: 4x9 crossover brackets (so, each team in pool A plays each team in pool B and none from their own; likewise for pools C and D) Split to...

Yes, but that could caused by simply entering the wrong command, or because you're using a different version of python - the file is written for Python 3. If you can take a screenshot of those errors and post them here, I can tell you which is the case.
