Re: Interest check: Chicagoland tournament, 4/30 or 5/21
Could someone mirror a trash tournament or a hybrid tournament like BLASTOISE? I'd definitely be interested in playing that and is there a chance of trash4strophe happening? Either date works for me

Re: NIU Huskie Bowl 29 Jan 2011
I just wanted to register my disappointment that the set was changed without notice after teams had already registered. Had I know that this tournament was to be played on a set that contains several novice-level packets, I would have considered not registering. I have no interest in playing any nov...

1. Auburn is obviously the best team in the state. Unless I'm forgetting something, they've won every tournament they've entered, including ones where they were not at full strength. When their starters are there, they cover everything with depth, save music, perhaps. Although they'll likely be beat...

Re: Second Annual Loyburn Classic @ Rockford Auburn (1/30/10)
This is all awesome, and once again reinforces my belief that no regular difficult tournament can be "too easy" as long as the questions are written well. I'm really looking forward to this. I have to disagree with this. In this set, easiness translated into a lot of guessable answer line...

That came off as more hostile than I meant it to. I really enjoyed the tournament and I was even okay with no advantaged final. I just thought that Ms. Greene said there should have been one. That's all.

This was before Deveau beat us for like the 3rd time, although we usually have better ppg/ppb than him, so 2nd & 3rd probably would've changed. This is pretty trivial, but, as Jonah mentioned, there's been production from other people on my team, especially Brian. Just thought he should get som...

Yes. Kevin is good, particularly on lit. I don't think he'll have too much overlap with Zach, who, from what I've seen and heard, isn't really great on lit. In fact, I think Kevin studied over the summer with an eye to filling in Zach's holes. Anyway, we'll see at the Harvard Mirror if they deserve ...

First off, I'd like to thank Mr. Reinstein for a very well-run tournament. I thought the questions were very good, with only a few exceptions (mostly in vocab or interdisc, but that's more the fault of the category). I agree with a lot of what has been said here regarding distribution. I think the m...

Auburn: Zahed and Lloyd are a fearsome duo. Zahed is good in nearly everything and deep in many. Lloyd is one of the better Lit players I've seen. Abid, if he ends up playing A, is beastly on visarts. With help from the endless supply of solid players they seem to enjoy, Auburn should be in the stat...
