The tournament will begin at 9 in Sever Hall. All teams should arrive BEFORE 8:45. Also schedules might be in flux--NYU had to drop out b/c of the hurricane and it's possible other New York teams will face the same problems, so please be very punctual so we can figure out the exact schedule we'll be...

Hey, so we're changing our discount policy to be in line with ACF's official standards. That means -$10 for a moderator and -$10/200 miles, rather than -5$/100 miles.

Harvard B edged out Williams in two nail-biting games to win the tournament. Dartmouth A and MIT A rounded out the top 4.

Dartmouth, Harvard B, and Williams, were all tied for first at the end of the playoffs, but because we only had ten packets Dartmouth was eliminated based on PPB

As of right now, we've filled up our 36 team field. However, the field will probably be expanded by at least a few teams, so please keep sending registrations in! At they very least you'll be at the head of the waiting list.

So I've been told that HFT is an affiliated tournament, and teams have not yet been qualified simply because all the stats outside the winners bracket still aren't clear. Is it possible that State College could register anyway, since we are definitely one of the teams that qualified at HFT?

It's hardly a hard and fast rule--I've found that in every situation where both teams have agreed something was right or wrong (at least as far as pronunciation), the moderator has changed his or her opinion to reflect this.
