Re: Online Skype Practice League - Round 5
If there are still spots left, I would be interested.

Re: NJ Discussion 2011-2012
Figured I'd post a quick NY/NJ/Charter power rankings: ---TIER ONE--- 1) Hunter A No surprises here. It would be a huge let down if Hunter A didn't climb up the walls, and while the (exit) music knowledge on this team isn't great, it's not like they're going to need an airbag in that category. Altho...

Re: On-going season rankings
Also in case it matters, the Hunter B team from BOAT was the only real B team that's played all year (Marianna, David, Matthew, and myself).

Yeah, as a pretty terrible philo player, I know only Being and Time and the fact that he was a Nazi.

Re: On-going season rankings
Dante (Bichette), you are too funny! The Hunter B team at the Seton Hall Pirate Open did not have its top two players, so to compensate it had to endure allowing Zihan, a player from its Top 5 or 6 A Team in the Country, a player sometimes capable of outscoring both Lily Chen and York Chen in playo...

Re: On-going season rankings
Ronnie, As Ed is far too humble to mention this, I will on his behalf. St. Joe's won the Pirate Open on 9/25 with a record of 10-1, losing only to Hunter B on the day (295-275) I would strongly consider them to be one of the top 2 or three teams in the NY/NJ region this year. Just my two cents. In ...

Re: Dunbar Mirror at Bergen (Hackensack, NJ) UPDATE: NOW 12/5/09
Unfortunately, I feel like that a lot of the top teams were missing a lot of their best players (Kellenberg was missing Nik, we were missing Lily and Zihan, and St. Joe's was missing 50% of their A team). Hopefully, we'll get more chances to play with our full teams later.

Re: DAFT 2009 Discussion
I also felt that while for the vast majority the answers to the tossups were pretty valid for high school, the distribution was a little wacky. Specifically, there were at least five RMP tossups (of which I believe four were philo) in one round. The hard parts of the bonuses were also too hard; aski...

For seeding purposes, keep in mind that Hunter will be missing not only Lily but also Zihan and quite possibly York, leaving us bereft of our top three players.

Lily doesn't like them. She's all like "uhhhhhhhhh" in an annoying way.
But I always go as Paul Q anyway.

Re: QuAC II at UPenn in Phila., PA (11/21/09)
I don't think we've had our full A team once this year, at this tournament we were missing York, who's our second leading scorer most times. Graham probably would have crushed us at lit anyway, but York's lit presence is a presence. We were also missing David at HFT.

Hunter will be bringing two teams, made up of fragments of the B and C teams.
