In TU 13 of Round 2 (answerline Mckinley), a certain Isaac Loften is mentioned as a postmaster that was reassigned by Mckinley. I couldn't find anything about "Isaac Loften" online in relation to Mckinley, was he in a book somewhere? Found it in a book online, but my computer with it book...

If my memory serves me, this set used BC/AD for date nomenclature, as opposed to BCE/CE. I know at least ACF prefers the latter; was this just for HSNCT or a general NAQT style recommendation?

The tossup on "Jewish men" had at least some clues that applied to women, if I remember correctly--e.g. Jewish women immerse in a mikvah as part of the conversion process.

I have to recommend Larry Gonick's Cartoon History of the Universe and Cartoon History of the Modern World. These books are surprisingly in-depth and very quick to read. I'd just like to thank the UMD for putting on a well-run tournament (that was under a mile from my house!). The moderators were excellent, and the staff proved capable of seamlessly making last minute adjustments.
