I've added some additional security settings on the server to limit the excessive traffic. There may be some false positives that are getting blocked - I've tried to limit it where I could. If you know of people that are getting 403 errors viewing content on the site, bring it to my attention either...

The site has been receiving an excessive amount of traffic over the last day or so, putting an extreme demand on the server.
I'm working on getting a handle on the traffic and back to normal. Things may be a little weird in the meantime.

The current size of the archive across all difficulty levels is just shy of 10 GB at the moment, and continues to grow each year. Currently the college archive makes up just under 50% of the sets in the repository, the high school archive another 25%, and the middle school, open, and trash archives ...

Everything's back up for now -we're running on our upgraded server and everything is checking out.

I'm going to be taking the site offline beginning at 2:00 PM Eastern Time on Sunday, December 22 for some long-overdue upgrades. I'm hoping the upgrade process will only take a couple hours, but it's possible the site may be down for as long as 24 hours. This outage will also affect quizbowlpackets....
