Kind of reminds me of "Best in Show" in that nobody watched that for dog-show content. It makes a lot of quizbowlers look weird and anti-social. The pie-eating contest metaphor is strained at best. But all in all, about as positive a spin on highest-level quizbowl as can be done.

Alternatively, if 2 more teams join, we could do a 6-6 split and then playoffs (top 2 from each RR and then finals, as many rounds as people want in the bottom). Might be long, but it would certainly be interesting. Again again, we could do 2 divisions, even.
