Glad to hear this went well in Toronto, I'll gladly take any feedback you or anyone else has. I don't know when the next one will be thought For this weekend, please respond with your two preferred times. The format will probably be individual tossups, with bonuses heard after each tossup and answer...

I'm thinking of potentially hosting this the weekend of July 14. Please sign up here , and tell me which day and a general time you'd like to play. I better learn how to use IRC I have no clue either, which is why this will probably be on Skype. There's a podcast about a year old called Elwood City ...

AARDVARK: An Arthur MiniTournament

At the request of my teammate, I would like to announce Anthropomorphic Animals Randomly Demonstrating Victory over Arthur Read Knowledge , a tournament that makes no reference to terrible Arthur memes. AARDVARK is a 3-packet mini tournament of 20/20, which was originally written to decide which of ...

I really enjoyed playing ACF Fall for the first time, and I thank everyone involved in writing, editing, and hosting. A few years back we at Norcross would hold two varsity practices a week. Individually we would study current events and the dates, but only a few days before the filming day. The day of filming we would test each other on This Day in History, sports, and news (as well as short buzzer race/misleading...

At the GA Tech BHSAT Norcross A was only our captain.

This is from Norcross's Prison Bowl Mirror.

Bouncebacks were not used. Here it was Norcross's captain and third best player.

We finished our nine team round robin without the need of an advantaged final or a final in general. Thanks for everyone who came out to play today. The final standings were: 1, Chattahoochee 8-0 2, Brookwood 6-2 3, Norcross 6-2 4, Alpharetta 5-3 Stats can be found here: http://www.hsquizbowl.org/db...

Norcross Prison Bowl Mirror, 4/21

Norcross High School is pleased to say that we will be hosting a tournament on Saturday, April 21, 2012. We will, once again, be hosting Hunter High School's Prison Bowl . Even though this date is after the regular season in Georgia, the Prison Bowl set will offer a great chance for teams to have an...

Overall the set was great. I understand that it is difficult to find first and second line clues that are relevant to Quiz Bowl that could be included. And I also saw very little complaining about the easiness of the questions. There were a lot of early buzzes from some of the upper tier players, my...

Re: CATT VI - (12/11/2010) - Chattahoochee High School

I was alright having two forteits, we played upper vs. underclassmen so it was a great playing experience, but in the round of 32 we had a forfeit against Ola A not Sonoraville. They're listed as going 1-6 that day which wouldn't be possible since the stats have them losing in the round of 64 to Sta...

Re: CATT VI - (12/11/2010) - Chattahoochee High School

Mr. Rountree a quick edit to the Stats that could change a few teams standings: it is listed as Sonoraville A forfeiting to Norcross A in the round of 32. Norcross had a BYE round after OLA A told us they were leaving during that round.
