Re: NY/NJ Date Claims 2012-2013
Because Scarsdale will be hosting a January tournament on a NAQT-A packet, does that mean that Half Hollow Hills West will not be hosting one this year?

Re: Prison Bowl V @ Hunter HS, NYC (3/3/2012)
At around what time would the preliminaries conclude? There's an event at my school on that date for which some of my team's players have to be back for, so we would be leaving at around 2:30 PM.

Re: FNT Mirror @ Hunter College High School (10/29/11)
What time is the tournament scheduled to begin? I'm probably missing this vital piece of information while it's right there, in black and white. Thanks!

Re: FNT Mirror @ Hunter College High School (10/29/11)
Valley Stream South is currently looking into this.
Question:
Do either LIFT or HHH qualify as tournaments that would make a player ineligible to attend? I know that HHH uses NAQT-A question sets, so I'm not sure if that would count.

Re: NAQT Questions
So, do both types follow the pyramidal structure of questions (obscure reference to dead giveaway)? And also, what's the difference between a tournament that uses an A-Set or an IS-Set?
Thanks so much for the help!

Moving Away From The "Long Island" Quiz Bowl Team Stereotype
I saw WSchneider's post here: http://hsquizbowl.org/forums/viewtopic.php?f=47&t=11702#p220234 which only gave me further motivation to expand the number of tournaments I and my team attend throughout the year. Although I've been playing quiz bowl since 8th grade, I am a "newbie" captai...
