I believe they did contact coaches, but as there was never any indication posted to the PACE site, we weren't sure that somewhere along the line, something hadn't gone awry.

Does anyone know of some good websites for writing questions about and/or studying history? I'm looking for something at least somewhat comprehensive, other than Wikipedia, but including wikis, databases of articles, etc. Anything that can top flipping through old packets is appreciated.

There are so many, it's basically impossible to narrow it down to only three. Also, to avoid any possible future confusion, the team in question is not my own, but the team of another hs in the same city. And they aren't new, but they're still developing.

Quite often people don't join quiz bowl because they feel they won't be any good, or because they think it's only for "supernerds". What are some different ways to solve these problems or work around them to gain members?
