Sam Blizzard was a great solo player but i think at the time Max Schindler was the person to beat - he just had a really strong team behind him as well. Sameer Rai had an unbelievable amount of hype attached to him at the time as well.

LKJ is great. He just received an honorary doctorate from the UWI, Mona. Knowing a bit about him, I think that's a greater honor than a Nobel.

I'll also add that we have always provided lunch at every tournament we have hosted - even taco bars - so if you are going to complain about prizes please consider folks who provide lunch too - this is often a major cost that I rarely see when I travel to other tournaments.
