Re: Greatest High School Quiz Bowl Players Ever

Sam Blizzard was a great solo player but i think at the time Max Schindler was the person to beat - he just had a really strong team behind him as well. Sameer Rai had an unbelievable amount of hype attached to him at the time as well.

Overreport clearly implies sending in information that the group themselves have decided are outside the scope of the form. A clear misreading by Naveed.

LKJ is great. He just received an honorary doctorate from the UWI, Mona. Knowing a bit about him, I think that's a greater honor than a Nobel.

Wilson Harris, who is now dead, would have been a good candidate. I dont see the academy giving it to Jamaica Kincaid. (Or Merle Collins or Dionne Brand).

The one who controls the terrain, controls the game.
So at CO, who will stand taller

I'm considering running a bluegrass bracket starting probably around June and am wondering if people would actually be interested in such a thing. What I most want to highlight here is this, men in quiz bowl need to be willing to lose face and to lose standing in our personal relationships to make quiz bowl a more open and accepting place. Until that is more widely accepted and practiced, it is going to be hard to make meaningful change, beca...
