I worked at or TD'ed more than a dozen ABC's between 1992 and 1999. I can also answer a lot of questions anyone might have.

I did think, though, that the questions got progressively more difficult, even during the prelims. And while I only glanced over round 1, I will say that low ppb by one or both teams correlated strongly with low TUH from the data I saw. The stat room figured it out immediately, but there isn't much of a way to fix it...there's no way to go back and figure out who played under which alias except for asking the team itself....
