A receptor partially named for this compound is activated by a peptide found in Gila monster venom. A peptide that is “like” this compound is an example of an incretin, whose production is blocked by DPP-4 inhibitors like Januvia . This compound upregulates a pathway that uses enzymes like HMG-CoA ...

William Franklin is a leading proponent of using the non-lethal guard variety of these super-machines as “a part of integrated sheep protection.” Unfortunately, one prototype of this product, Hemiauchenia, didn't do so great in the North American market. As of 2011, the most advanced single domain ...

As far as most improved, I think my teammate Jonathen Settle deserves some recognition. He has gotten ridiculously good at science in the past year which has been a huge part of Florida's improved performance at the national tournaments this year. I can agree with this. It was scary playing science...

If this date doesn't work for a lot of people I can reschedule, but given my current schedule it probably won't take place until mid-September.

This tournament contained yet another tossup on slaves that used the pronoun "this commodity". Tossups like these seem pretty dehumanizing to me. On the other hand, this tossup construction might be the best way to ask about the slave trade. What do people think?
