Re: ILLIAC at Brown

Normally, it would, but:

1) Yale has told me that they likely would not be able to make it to the tournament.

2) No one at Brown has expressed interest in playing on a house team for this tournament.

Re: Feynman's BONGOS: A Side Event (for PACE and maybe HSNCT

This was great fun! Thanks so much Will for running this! Getting to watch quiz bowl greats like Eric Mukherjee and Ike Jose play was a delightful thing. I sure hope we see more of Feynman's BONGOS soon.

Re: 2015 HSNCT discussion

Like Shravan, I was overjoyed when I heard the cricket bonus. I'm a huge cricket fan, and I never thought cricket would be asked about at any tournament, much less nationals. Thanks NAQT!!

Re: 2015 HSNCT discussion

I know it was common link, but dropping the ABC plant development model in the first line of the ABC tossup might have been too much of a giveaway. The same goes for histone acetylation in the histone tossup. Thanks for being nice with the powers, NAQT. As always, the philosophy (Heidegger, Kierkega...

Re: Somewhat In-Depth Carding Questions

I'd agree with Max- looking up the dude on Wikipedia is better than simply carding him first. I think flashcards are awesome, but as you said, if you rely too much on them, then you'll just be playing the membowl game. I don't know if this is just me, but I tend to remember the stuff I read in Wikip...

Science is a weak spot for many teams, especially for those around the novice high school level, so having a s...
