In the last year or so of writing about fantasy sports, Tracey Hickman has gone from being just a good sports player to powering every sports question bar 6 at ACRONYM, with the majority of those powers in the first line.

This is somewhat nitpicky, but Nixon's dog Checkers died before Nixon became president, so I don't think it would be accurate to refer to him as a "presidential dog." Also, the tossup on Laplace transforms has a sentence fragment at the end of the third line, "that partial fraction expansion method."

I think I would have to make a value judgment on "liberal Democrats deserve to be executed" in regards if this is actually a threat. Tossup 20 of round 8 was a jazz tossup on New York City, and then in the very next round, bonus 6 was a jazz bonus that recycled almost all of the same clues.
