I will echo everyone and agree that Eric is the rightful winner. I also extend congratulations to everyone who made the lists, especially Alston and Sam. I was always impressed by Sam's ppg, some of them are truly insane.

Congratulations to every team that played this year, especially Kealing, Middlesex, and all of the teams from Georgia and Kentucky. It is superb to see how much the quiz bowl program has grown throughout the nation.

When I was in sixth grade, my friend told me about a club called "scholastic bowl," and encouraged me to go with him to the first practice. I almost didn't go, but I ended up going because I played KMO in elementary school, and I was told scholastic bowl was like that, the rest is history.

I second what Jeff said, it would be surprising if they do not get a top five or top six spot. It's not completely out of the question that they could beat Kealing, like they did at Bevo Bowl, but I cannot see them ranking over Middlesex, Saint Theresa, or Harmony.

There is a far larger archive of high school level questions compared to middle school questions. Both of you could try reading high school novice level tossups and bonuses to your players. While the difficulty may seem daunting at first, it pays off in the long run as opposed to lower level MS sets...

Just to throw in my two cents since I attend Barrington. We've had about twelve people express an interest in going to PACE (respectable given that is the normal amount that attends regular tournaments). Unfortunately, the current associated costs stand at $700, so that number will probably go down....
