I negged the tossup on Alberta with "Athabasca oil sands"; this is entirely my fault since I buzzed after "this governmental entity" was read, but all the clues before that refer to "this region," which seems unnecessarily coy for describing an administrative division that has a name.

The leadin to the potassium tossup in round 9 says that:
Glycyrizzhizic acid, which is found in licorice, increases the secretion of this ion.
The correct name should be glycyrrhizic or glycyrrhizinic acid, and some research also seems to indicate that the opposite is true.

The bonus part on GABA refers to it as an excitatory neurotransmitter, which was quite confusing, and as far as I can find this is only true in the developing brain; in the mature brain and elsewhere in the central nervous system, GABA is inhibitory.

If I recall correctly, the tossup on 2 pi mentioned something along the lines of "the reciprocal of this number appears in Cauchy's integral formula", which made me somewhat hesitant to buzz because 1/(2 pi times i) is what appears in front of the integral.

I enjoyed the vowel merger bonus a lot (we had predicted it before play even started!), as well as the tossup on Basque (which I negged because I was being dumb, still a good tossup though), and I think it would be great to see more questions on linguistics topics in the future.
