In order to save Anson the trouble of copying and pasting the rankings every time, and to stop this thread from being filled with huge walls of text, we will be posting all future rankings to grogerranks.wordpress.com

Re: Groger Ranks 2018-19

Hello. A lot of what you mentioned is true. Belmont is indeed a very good team that deserves a national ranking, and they are not including the ranking. Our main rationale asides from the additional stats we would have to enter, as stated before, is because the disproportionate effect powers would h...

Re: Illinois 18-19

Hello. Hanson asked me to post this poll: https://goo.gl/forms/ypnoOlQvucvFrBv43 into the forums. It's basically a preseason poll where you rank who you think the top Illinois teams are, and give a brief justification. Once the poll is complete, Hanson will post the rankings along with a brief write...

Re: High School Player Poll

Govind is not only a scarily good history player (see JV NHBB triple crown), but a scary generalist. His power count at PACE and HSNCT was amazing, especially considering the high ppgs of both Olivia and Deepak, who are also great players.

Re: Matt Bruce (cw: sexual assault, pedophilia)

I am obviously not one of the very established members of this community, but I have enjoyed playing NAQT since middle school. That's what made it worse when I heard that NAQT did not fire this despicable man. This is not just accusations, there is actual proof about what a twisted person he is. Whe...

Hello.

In our Game 3, the moderator couldn't even read one of the social studies questions and had to throw it out. Do you know why this may have been a problem (were there typos or something) or what the actual answer was?

Re: Masonics 2018

Hello.

Did anyone by chance see a blue/black and red jacket with a Daniel Biss for Governor pin attached to it left behind at Bloomington High School? We checked all the game rooms, the cafeteria, and the library but couldn't find it.

Re: New AMSQG announcement

Hello Mr. Dennis, Good evening. I hope this message finds you and all who read this well. The points you bring up are all good ones. I just wanted to share how AMSQG was conceived in the first place to try to provide a rationale behind writing this set the way we are. Last school year, three of the ...

The information posted here for AMSQG is no longer valid, due to recent changes in how the set will be written. The up-to-date information can be seen on Jakob's recent post: http://www.hsquizbowl.org/forums/viewto ... 46&t=20273

Just to be clear, this is the same set as the AMSQG set, except it has been slightly reworked to more easily be able to be played at the middle school level.
