And yeah I figured that NSC-1 wouldn't be as big of a problem as some of the other sets.

About crazy rules, we didn't have a problem with them in the postseason, because districts were at Clarke (who has held the tournament 4 straight years) and regionals were at Mason (where quizbowl is synonymous with success). I am confirm that we will be only bringing 2 teams. However, I see that this leaves you with 23 teams, so, if a SCAB team would need to be formed, then we should be able to supply players for that. But, we do not have enough for 3 teams.

Thanks to Auburn and Mr. Beeken for a well-run tournament. Everything was smooth if I remember correctly. I was excited to finish fourth and was really excited to be highest individual scorer.

But I was really excited that my little 7th grade brother finished 29/77 in scoring after prelims.

If I was a high school coach, I would never even read it in practice; the massive variety of better materials, that can actually teach students important things is so great that VHSL based practice would be outlandish and wasteful. So... the Bull Run District started tonight. George Mason reloaded...again. We beat them 170-155 I think. We are 3-0, Mason is 2-1, Clarke is 2-1, Strasburg might be 2-1, and Manassas Park and Madison are 0-3. I think.

It seems that Rappahannock County will be sending at least one team to this. We aren't sure exactly how many yet, mostly because we aren't sure how a Sunday tournament could affect our teams.

Radford is like George Mason. Both teams rarely attend outside tournaments, show up to VHSL, and dominate. GM's 2007 NAQT team finished third in the small school division. Both would, if they did attend outside tournaments, do very well.

At A level, Radford will be great, as they always are. George Mason lost their starters to graduation, and West Point lost its captain as well, who was WP's dominant player. I imagine Honaker will advance to states, and Auburn will do reasonably well. If anybody on my team would study over the summe...

There is a potential, although many, many, many things would need to be done for this to be possible, that Rappahannock County will host a house-written tournament on some future date. Thanks George. We are 60 miles west of DC in the middle-of-nowhere, for those potentially interested.
