Yes -- a BIG congrats -- the state represented itself very well on the national level. It was great to see several teams in the playoffs and many familiar faces during the course of the day. Best of luck to all graduating seniors -- we will miss you next year! And best of luck to all those coming ba...

Eden Prairie B was also 6-4, making it 5 teams (at least) from MN to make the playoffs. Still waiting to hear about Hill-Murray and Minnetonka. St. Thomas and Chaska (who are traditional MN powers) and Orono all finished 5-5 and are out. All in all a decent showing from some of the MN contingent....

Robert and the NAQT crew have been GREAT so far. Scrimmages have been fun. The TV crew is great too -- it'll be fun to see what they end up producing.

Good luck to all.

My guess is that Robert will roll with 156, if the math works. That's what he had mentioned to me at any rate a few days ago...

Mitu,

When did you guys get a 3rd team qualified? Was it the Mac tournament?

We're looking forward to the Deep Bench tournament... Wayzata should do really well.

Hey... MN has always been under-represented until this year, so it'll be a nice change!

I agree with Alex... DeLaSalle is a very good team, and one I forgot to mention before. Bernie and Jared are very good players on that team and Martin is a great coach. It's exciting to see that 12 MN teams have already registered for NCT. Hopefully there will be more. MN is an atypical state when i...

I've seen pretty much every NAQT invite and also the State Championship meet (in a slightly different format) so I can give my opinion. Since I coach the Eden Prairie team, I won't comment on us. We've been blessed and very fortunate so far this year. Wayzata is very good, and very deep. They have o...

I know I myself would not be able to go with the team to PACE, but that's not to say we wouldn't be able to make something happen.

I know nothing about PACE though, very sad to say. What would a team need to do to get in?

Thanks all....

I appreciate the kind words about the program. Our school has a lot to pull from (nearly 1000 kids per grade) and it certainly helps having 5 National Merit Scholars involved with the program, but we've never competed in any kind of a national meet so we'll be wide-eyed and a bit green when we get t...

Thanks for the plug

I appreciate Andrew putting a big bulls-eye on our back! I'm the coach of the Eden Prairie team and we have had an exciting season to say the least, but I'm not here to say we are going to be favorites at this meet as we have never competed in a national competition before. It'll be fun to se...
