Although it's a somewhat limited field, any predictions for the competition tomorrow. Even with the new format, I see EP A winning, Chaska a likely second, then maybe EP B, Team Plymouth, or a dark horse school that randomly rocks at PACE. I'm hoping for the best from the writers, and I know this co...

Re: Minnesota '07-'08

It is now looking like the great RATRACE may have been caught in a mousetrap. As of 3:00 today, I only have six confirmed teams for this Saturday's RAT-RACE quiz bowl tournament at Roseville Area High School. I've sent out a final round of reminders which I hope will prod some procrastinators into r...

Re: Minnesota '07-'08

Since a couple of posts on RATRACE got lumped into the general discussion on EPIC and such, I'll repost with some updatedness. Wayzata is sending one team of 2-4 players, Minnetonka is possibly throwing a team together last minute, and EP is now possibly attending. I think this should be an interest...

Re: Minnesota '07-'08

Anyone know what the field is looking like for RATRACE? I know that Wayzata is (hopefully) sending one depleted team, Minnetonka may be sending a team, and Eden Prairie is not sending a team.

Also, any complaints regarding the word titular should be stopped, as it makes the quiz bowl go round.

Wayzata will be a little mixed up, as Chris Heffner and Noah Rosenthal can't make it. This means our A team will be our normal 5 but now without an alternate. This is also somewhat the case for playoffs next Thursday, which neither Noah nor Chris H. can attend. As for predictions, I'd put, assuming ...

Wayzata will not be attending GINVIT, unless by some miracle I can get A team to undermine our coach's authority. I guess, in a state where we don't often get snow and are so unprepared for it, this makes sense. Hopefully everyone will still enjoy playing without us.
