How are you having 8 teams re-bracket for a championship and have 3 rounds? Is it two separate brackets and RR inside them? If you're doing it this way, a team is eliminated from the top 4 (and thus HSNCT qualification) with just one loss in the morning, so if your bracketing is in any way imperfect...

Can I claim one of the couches for friday night? I'm going to go ahead and purchase a plane ticket that lands at 9:05 in PHX on friday night, and then one that leaves at 8:30ish on Saturday night. Turns out PHX->LAX->JFK is less expensive than LAX->JFK when using the same LAX->JFK segment.

Can you post the text of the question on constructors from DI round 4 TU 8 please? I'm not sure if I misheard a clue regarding single colons which I had thought were used to declare derived classes, and not constructors.

Just from a quick glance at the stats, it looks like there were no average teams at this tournament; all ppb were either over 16 or under 10 (from playoff stats).

Fees will be on the lower range, likely $60-$80 base per team, but discounts that can bring down team fees significantly, and there will once again be the self-sustainability discount that will heavily discount a team that brings a moderator and a buzzer, down to nearly at-cost for us.

Regarding neg prizes, we always have them as a comedic idea here, once we gave out a book called "gut reactions", and we had often given out subtraction flashcards. I really liked what Kellenberg did which was to give out a cheap plastic mask (their tournament is right around halloween).
