Thank you so much for hosting! I want to echo everything Dwight was saying about the great moderating staff and organization. Will this tournament be taken into account for ACF Novice eligibility? i.e. Tammy scored 40+ppg this time in her first college tournament. Is she now ineligible for ACF Novice?

Dwight, Richard will be joining you at UCI, and he's said that he's thinking about playing during law school. As for our hosting, we'll probably end up hosting 3 college and 3 high school tournaments this year in addition to WCI.

I don't think we put in a bid because we had hosted the past 2 years and we couldn't be sure we could get enough staff again this year. Also, the deadline snuck up on us and we didn't even think about submitting.

You might not want to have a hard registration deadline that far ahead of the tournament, but instead note that on that date spots will be released to second teams from previously registered schools, and then have a final registration deadline only a week before the tournament date.

I think what Donald was saying is to take teams based on record while maintaining each bracket individually. For example, if teams in one bracket go 3-2, 3-2, 3-2, 3-2, 3-2, 0-5, still take one of them, even though there may be a bracket that wend 5-0, 4-1 etc, and don't take that 4-1 team.

Yeah... one of ours has one paddle that stopped working, and it fell out of the box completely... But the electronics still work as a circuit board on the table, but the LEDs are probably going to tear off each buzzer soon.
