Banning any talk about anime just seems really draconian. Is the rule really necessary? I know there was a recent tournament discussion that focused on a trash question, but that's what quizbowlers do, even if it doesn't add to overall criticism of the set.

I just fixed a ton of tallying errors in the SQBS files (a lot of negs were tallied on the scoresheets as powers and such). I generally did not look for addition errors, though.

I'll get around to posting a more complete writeup later today, but I'd like to note that Ola had a player fall sick and I got the impression that people in the Mountain View group had jobs or some other commitment, so it was more than a "we didn't make the top bracket so we're leaving" thing.

The stat was never design for the purpose of determining match winners, it was designed to find the team with the hardest schedule in a set. Doesn't NAQT already do something like this? The S value?
