Re: ANNOUNCEMENT: Cardinal Classic XVIII (2/14/09) at Stanford
We are planning the hotel part of this right now, and I would like either suggestions for a cheap hotel room that is near the Stanford campus (like, that we could walk to since we have no rental car) or people who would be able to put up roommates to get in touch with us so we can cheaply travel. You're welcome to make the argument that bonus difficult was uneven, but I don't think some of the best teams in the country getting close to 25 points per bonus at a regular season tournament is a bad thing.

Re: ACF Fall packet submission and difficulty discussion
I haven't seen any of the packets, but based on the stats, the target difficulty appears to have been met. I also think Ted raised a good point, so I'll quote it here: maybe in the future a couple finals packets should be written that are slightly more difficult. It seems that most tournaments featu...

Offering constructive criticism is usually much more helpful than spewing vitriol. Saying things like you hope they never host again is ridiculous. I was really happy to see Sorice, for example, say how he'd be willing to help out at their next tournament.

The packet submitted by Florida State A will feature players who have not played prior to September 1, 2007 so there shouldn't be a $25 penalty, unless you are charging people for submitting optional packets.
