Charlie said UTC was willing to host, if no other schools were interested in the automatic bid. This is probably why the UTC site announcement is "pending." Perhaps the same is true for Pitt.

I agree that this tournament was great. The meta-quizbowl was very well written, and I hope it sticks around. My only complaint is that sports/music/TV/movies should be equally represented, just as history/literature/science should be equally represented in academic tournaments.

I'm a little puzzled by the responses on here. Of course there is going to be *some* repeats when it comes to tossup answers. The ICT and HSNCT packet sets have something like 500 tossups each.
