In my highschool anyway, the track coach actively went looking for people he thought could run well. The math team coach actively sought out people speedy at math...why wouldn't a quiz bowl coach do the same? I just don't get it. Yeah this was a great tournament to get me back into the "swing of things." I realized what i needed to learn (SCIENCE) and what I can expand on. Overall very enjoyable and kudos to the writers for producing a great set.

I've played on a buzzer set that fit into a good-sized suitcase, and quacked. The individual buzzers had bases that were made of WOOD. It had to be older than me. I too have played on the quacking buzzer set. The one I got used to throughout my high school career was The Tournament Master by Buzzer...

Thanks for clearing that up Jonah. I'm probably going to take the test either way when I have some free time but its nice to know that it's no longer necessary to be test certified before becoming performance certified.
