I wanted to give an idea of what driving into town was like for my team. Our team stayed at some cheap hotels in Secaucus. For a variety of reasons, we drove into town. In case anyone is driving into Manhattan from NJ or the outer boroughs, I found that traffic wasn't too bad. The tolls are expensiv...

I'm comically rusty at this point, but I used to be a pretty good history player. One thing I've seen younger players make mistakes with when studying history questions is to get too narrowly focused. I've seen lots of players commit to things like "knowing everything about the Civil War" or "knowin...

As someone who usually plays CO on teams that finish in the lower-middle of the field, I'd obviously really be against restricting the field to "good" teams, whatever that means. I am not totally opposed to this plan and will go along with whatever the editors choose; I'd probably do something a bit different and would probably lean towards a holistic approach given the subjective nature of this, but I'm not the editor of CO. Format will depend on how many additional schools sign up in the next few weeks. The main goal is to give all teams at least 9 rounds of play one way or another. I'm leaning towards a round robin right now, but we might split into divisions if the field size expands a lot over the next few weeks.
