Re: 2010-11 NAQT IS sets: question-specific discussion

There was one tossup in IS-102 on a disease (in round 11 or 12) that sounded really hard. I'd be interested in seeing the conversion stats for it and the actual tossup.

Re: 2010-11 NAQT IS sets: question-specific discussion

I felt that the On Liberty tossup in round 2 (or 3, forgot) of IS 100 was a little too hard for that set.

Re: Tournament #16

The most recent set I see is last year's NASAT.
Edit: it appears from Google that there is/was a #16 set posted, but I still don't see it.

And write tossups on Stuyvesant instead.

Was it the "Principles of political economy" clue?

Re: "Regular" High School Difficulty

Being on an open team is the only way a Missouri high school player can participate in college tournaments.

Re: MUT 2011 (Non-Specific) Discussion

I felt that, as a whole, this was a pretty good set. The only thing I would say about the bonuses is the use of "You are X. Let's see how much you know about your life" as a leadin, and some other useless ones mentioning the names of various quizbowl players.

You might want to make it available in the first post.

Re: MSHSAA Districts/State

Well, MSHSAA pretty much dictates that the tournaments include some grammar questions. Also, I felt the bonuses were a bit subpar when it came to helpful clues in the beginning (like the stuff before FTPE).
