Going all NHBB and requiring teams bring a reader would make that easier. It's not optimal but it could work.
Also, Georgia is definitely not the worst example. Many southern states do not follow good quizbowl conventions.

Since I've received minimal interest for this, including at the main site in Lexington, I'm considering canceling this, which would be disappointing. If anyone has even the slightest interest in running a mirror of this at their tournament, please contact me within the next week or so.

Most modern quizbowl tournaments rebracket the field for a round-robin playoff. This is the fairest format, and also gives teams the most bang for their buck. I stopped drinking soda during tournaments this year because I was having a problem with crashes, and that's been working. Water is the best. Also chewing gum helps.

Exeter was definitely impressive in finishing third, and is probably a tier 1 or 2 team.

Same thing about Maine and Rhode Island. There's absolutely nothing going on quizbowl-wise. New England is small enough that they can travel to tournaments out of state without much hassle with the proper promotion of tournaments.

From looking in the Database ... the last time MITBAT ran, it used an HSAPQ ACF set, so it may use that again.
It's another good set for practice if no one ends up using it in the region.
