Truman State would be interested in bringing at least one team ... depending on the date and the question set used (it can't conflict with Rollapalooza's NAQT set). We aren't technically in Iowa but are about 30 miles from the border :-P. Hopefully there is enough true Iowa interest though cuz this ...

I would be happier with March ... just because we are already loaded up with tournaments this semester and that definitely is right during finals. It will be enough trouble getting the packets together for the tournaments we already want to go to.

That is right at the end of the semester... a week before finals for us. I don't know if there just weren't any other options or what but that will probably be a horrible weekend for most people with end of semester projects and finals for some.

I guess I'm more curious about the Dakotas, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming.... and heck .. even Alaska.... if there is anything there... I think most of them have Panasonic teams at least.

I'd actually kind of like to see this mystery community. I've always wondered what quiz bowl was like from Kansas going west until you reach Cali. Colorado has a decent state tourney, if i recall correctly... other than that, I am not really too sure. I know Kansas has something but they stay strict...

Her question to me is the same one I have heard from many coaches for many, many years. Why do people who are not "high school people" try to influence what goes on in high school quiz bowl? I do it because Missouri quizbowl questions are typically horribly Chippish and reward raw buzzer speed rath...

Team Missouri just fell apart. Brandon Thomas got scammed out of a LOT of money and will thus be moving out of his apartment and back to Kansas to work his ass off to make the money back before school starts again. He also was responsible for getting us our hotel room at an employee rate.... so pret...
