The fact of the matter is that we will be very hard-pressed to produce a packet by the 20th. I would say that we are tentative at best, especially since I will be traveling to Minn. the next weekend. However, some new players might possbly wish to play this and I could probably moderate if needed.

We had a lot of people sign up for ACO this week so I would expect Truman to bring 3 teams at least, depending on how we manage our funds.

Yeah, we were planning to come to TTGT11 regardless but we will be at this one now if this is what happens. I do hope that TTGT11 happens again in during the Spring semester because I had a lot of fun there last year.

I like the idea of having everything at one centralized location but would still much rather have the atmosphere of Evanston for the weekend. I know that isn't the most helpful feedback but I am definitely not opposed to the convenience offered by the hotel option.

We concluded our version of a "tournament" a couple hours ago. Despite the mishaps on my end, I believe that everyone ended up having fun. The results are posted on the MO quiz bowl forum. We did not get around to playing the VCU Open questions and I am pretty sure that this would not have gone over...

I like the draft idea... especially if there are enough people to make some very interesting teams.

How do people feel about having players read during bye rounds? This is obviously not my first choice but I'm just wondering how people typically feel about it.

Truman State, WUSTL, and Princeton are all 4-1 in our bracket. Carnegie Mellon and Harvard are, I believe, 3-2.
