Re: MATCH, Marlborough MA, Jan 7

Plymouth Regional has 2 teams registered, but we have enough interest to fill a C team. It looks like as of now 23 teams are in. If you have room for another team, we would like to bring a third team.

Re: New England Date Claims 16-17

Does anyone know how long it usually takes for History Bowl results to get posted on the History Bowl website? Still waiting to see the results of the New Hampshire Bowl on November 12.

Re: New England Discussion '16-'17

Thanks for posting. We have had a lot of fun competing against the best of New England so far this year. We have learned a lot about our strengths and weaknesses, specifically about keeping ourselves physically and mentally alert in these longer tournaments, especially after having to travel a long ...

Re: PHAT X (12/2 at South Burlington VT HS)

Hi Kevin,
We will have 3 teams from Plymouth Regional. I expect to have an A and B Varsity and a novice team, but I will talk to Jay tomorrow to try to iron out the details.

Re: Preseason Poll

After reading all the comments above and being fairly new to the scene, yet having brought a team to SSNCT and making the playoffs including a victory over one of the top 10 ranked small-school teams in the poll, I'm just curious what other things are you looking at to get new teams noticed? I would...

Re: Preseason Poll

It is going to pretty tough for anyone in the small school division that has to take on Lehigh Valley this year. Alex is an amazing player and is fun to watch play, despite the fact that he is usually burying your team all by himself. I really like how NAQT has changed the format for the SSNCT divis...

Re: MIT Fall Academic Tournament (September 24, 2016)

Jeff, Thank you for your previous response about SSNCT qualification. I had asked the tournament director about the qualification standards for SSNCT but he wasn't sure of how that would work. As Plymouth Regional High School A posted an 8-2 record and was the first team out of the championship brac...

Re: MIT Fall Academic Tournament (September 24, 2016)

I just wanted to note that Plymouth Regional qualifies as a small school. I am assuming that if this is an open invitational for nationals (all-school), that it is also a qualifier for the SSNCT, correct?

Re: New Hampshire Quizbowl?

I think the New Hampshire circuit is improving. This past year there was one obvious team that stood out in Bishop Guertin, at least on the NAQT Circuit, and as always they were very good on the NH circuit as well. Not many teams play on the NAQT Circuit due to financial and geographical challenges....

Re: Brookline (MA) Spring Rookie Tournament II - 5/21/16

Hi Adam, I would like to send my son Rhys Harris (Plymouth Regional H.S., Plymouth, NH) to this tournament, but I have a softball game to coach that day and so I don't have a coach that I know of that will be driving down (our other coach is also working). He may just come with his mom and be a solo...
