Two more notes, after which I'll really stop bumping this for a while: 1) Thanks to the fine folks at UIUC, we are now able to extend the half-packet submission deadline to February 7th . There appear to be some formatting issues with a few of the packets, notably some of the bonuses in the Casey Retterer packet and pretty much all of the tossups in the Finals packet for "Maryland Terrapins". This looks fantastic conceptually, though, and I did get a kick out of reading about that fa...

That's a good question. I'm going to say no, because hosting a tournament between SCT and ICT causes some of the CUT rules (e.g. freshmen who can't play Div II) to get a bit murky. I also forget exactly when ICT invitations were sent out last year, but some teams might have to change their setup at ...

Just a quick stat note: I did not score 1 tossup in UNC B's game against our A team, for the fairly substantial reason that I was driving southbound somewhere on I-85 at that time.

Stats for the 2007 Tar Heel Cup are now available at http://www.unc.edu/~rbruss/thc07/tarhee ... dings.html . As best I can tell, this is a combination of the round-robin and playoff games, with a few playoff games (notably RCA vs. Robinson A) missing.

I'm pretty sure the last Cup this applied to was... '01? give or take a year, back when it was Walter Williams and my alma mater, East Forsyth. The fact that I haven't even seen either of those teams there in the last two or three years says something about the level of Raleigh Charter's consistency.
