I know we are preparing extremely hard for the tournament also. I am sure the BMHS should do well and should finish high in small schools. Personally, I have found that is really not worth the effort. Apparently there was more than one site that had only enough teams for one "normal" sized pool of 7 or 8... we had to sit through a conversation about the other South Alabama site at the beginning of one of our rounds at Snead..

Ok I know I don't normally do this but What about Atlanta? It has a major airline hub, quite a few convention centers/hotels, not bad for getting around downtown, and you have two colleges that have programs that are NOT that far away with Georgia Tech in the city and U of GA in Athens. Honestly Matt W, I don't have a clue if that would fly with the courts, which is the whole thing that is driving this. But it does seem like if you actually had the parent listed as a volunteer coach then they should be able to do it. When I was in school, we regularly had several of us that drove h...

Douglas and Matt, I am just speaking about Alabama. If a team uses the name of the high school we can be held responsible for the actions of that group. Now if you are on your own time, not using the schools name, or anything like that... then I have a feeling nothing would come of it. Also, accordi...

Re: Repairing the reset button on the Judge
Well I got the reset buttons replaced on both of my Judges. Bill, I can totally understand the frustration at the behavior of some of these "win at all cost" parents, they are truly pieces of work but I am not sure about the 100 point deduction of points. I don't know the format exactly but in our state format, 100 points would almost automatically...

I will.. I have taken the actual housing for the reset button a part, and the button doesn't look that hard to change out but I am not totally sure what to switch the button out for because I honestly think if I had like a toggle or something like that it might do a bit better.. .
