When it comes to national performance, no one had numbers good enough to be blacklisted. When it comes to years of play, would we eliminate just seniors? Or does it become a F/S tourney? Novice tournaments are so complicated...I'd say we employ a Potter Stewart metric and leave it up to the coaches....

Being a "top team/player in Illinois", doesn't mean you are "too good" for a "novice" tournament. another veiled example of Illinois people thinking they are better than they actually are I echo this sentiment, but, as Dan said, Fall Novice has requirements. next year ...

I won't argue with that. No one knows a player better than his coach. You should blacklist both of Lisle's stars (Greg and Neal), as well as Julia Wang of Stevenson.

I wouldn't do this...And Christian K. should be blacklisted for sure--He played Loyola A most of his junior year, and he was easily one of the best sophomores in the state when we were all sophomores. I know it exists, but I'm not quite sure of the date--Auburn's Knights' Challenge FR/SO. House-written as usual, but I'm not quite sure about the date. Historically we've done the first Saturday after winter break, but I can't give a definitive answer.

In a season filled with great tournaments, this one was one of the best, and I congratulate Kristen and Brad on their success as the most prolific hosts/writers for this season. I wish it could have ended differently, but Huskie Bowl was a winner.

The moderator you're referring to would be an exception, since one of our moderators, a French teacher, reads for state and read for the finals at Auburn.

1. Pyramidal math may have potential, but the problem is that you start a problem, then start another easier one, and in the end, the giveaway is the place where you actually get it.
