This was the most well run tournament that we have attended all year; it was also laid back and really fun! I thought the readers, the questions and everything else were perfect. Thanks to Farrah and the rest of the Georgia Tech team for all of their hard work in putting this together.

I heard the GSAC set yesterday at Alpharetta's mirror and I would also recommend this set highly. I thought the questions, while a little more difficult than a typical NAQT IS set, were at a level that would be accessible to any reasonably experienced team.

Centennial is really, really good. They have not lost a game to another team from Georgia in almost a year, since the Prison Bowl mirror at Norcross last March.

This was a great set of well written questions, although definitely harder than "regular difficulty" level. I would imagine that quite a few teams felt a bit overwhelmed by the questions, but they were perfect for the more experienced teams in the field.

Centennial actually beat Dorman 560-110 in the final round at Chattahoochee today. They have been seriously underestimated so far this year.

Both Chattahoochee and Brookwood have already heard the IS-98 set at tournaments outside of Georgia. Would you continue with the use of IS-98, knowing that would exclude Brookwood and Chattahoochee, or switch to some other set?

In Georgia, most tournaments run by high schools use bouncebacks on bonuses. I have not attended any tournaments outside of the southeast (other than the HSNCT) so I am wondering what the norm is in other parts of the country. Central Gwinnett will probably bring one team. It's too far out to be able to say 100%, but I can let you know for sure once we get into second semester. I would love to see a mirror of Maggie Walker's GSAC set as it's always a strong set and I don't think it's ever been used in Georgia before.

I am trying to find as many "outside" readers as I can, then I will try hitting coaches up to see if they will agree to read. I would really hate to turn any teams away solely due to a lack of readers.

Bainbridge has already registered for the GATA Fall Tournament so I think that, unfortunately, they will have to come off the interested list as well. Georgia teams will have to choose between Alabama's tournament and GATA Fall since they are using the same set.

Could a Georgia Mirror be held on the same day as the main HFT (11/13)? That would be the only good date to hold a tournament in Georgia in either November or December due to the Chattahoochee and Brookwood tournaments, Thanksgiving, and the SAT.
