Re: Harvard Fall Mirror at Auburn (12/11/10)

Straight up highest PPB. So, yeah, it's theoretically possible that the two teams would come from the same bracket (although this would probably indicate that pool seeding was done poorly). Although what Garb said is possible, it's quite unlikely, no? It definitely happens http://www.ihssbca.org/st...

Re: Harvard Fall Mirror at Auburn (12/11/10)

I think Nolan is alluding to the posibility of a team with a low record and a low TU count. It's feasible a team could have such a small sample size that their PPB could eclipse a team with 3-4 more wins than them.

It was really cool to have every active Big Ten school at this tournament (well, if you don't count Penn State and Iowa, but that's pretty debatable). . An announcement of this sort should be coming as soon as some more information is acquired by the involved parties (sorry this came off so vague.)

This tournament will now have a soft cap of 18 teams. That means that once/if I reach 18 teams then new teams registering will be put on a wait list until 5 teams are on the wait list, then those teams will be admitted to a field and it will be a 24 team tournament.

With the official addition of Stevenson that now means that, according to the HSQB poll, we now have the #7, #12, and #21 teams attending this tournament. More top teams are rumored to be signing up so no one should miss this opportunity to play some of the best teams in the country.
