From what I know of trying to organize the Boston summer open, there probably aren't enough people at MIT over the summer to host MIT practices. I'll see if Harvard is interested, though I think there's also not (too) many people on campus over the summer.

To proselytize for someone I've never personally met, I keep hearing the stat quoted that Clark Smith (of Dublin Scioto) had 20 ppg at ACF Nats--on a team with Chris Ray. That's some astounding deep knowledge.

How are teams going to work? Based on current numbers, IMO it's easiest to just have shootouts in both rooms, with reseeding after initial playing to make sure rooms play out competitively. Otherwise, I'd have to force everyone to pick one of four teams, and I don't feel great about that working ou...

Based on current signups, we will run two rooms for 3 rounds of shootouts of randomized groups (seeded by me), before reseeding based on scores and playing until 11 or we've finished all packets, whichever is sooner. PACE just sent out staffer emails, and staffers are officially supposed to help set up Friday night, if they're there, until 9 PM. An unimportant (but important to me...) side-note is that Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final is in DC on Saturday night, so I'll probably trek out to a bar in RTC to go watch it, if anyone would like to join, or even host a viewing in the NSC hotel bar.
